About the author – Kenneth P. Bowman is a Professor in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences at Texas A&M University, He received his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado and his Ph.D. in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics from Princeton University. At Texas A&M he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in atmospheric science. His research areas include large-scale atmospheric transport, climate dynamics and statistical climatology, and satellite meteorology.
